Plumbing Lead
A Lead Plumber on our new construction team you must be self-motivated, organized, detail orientated, professional, and enjoy developing and working with others. Knowledge in all applicable state and local plumbing codes and methods, policies, and procedures is also a must. This position will work within new residential construction settings and will lead and develop their team while also performing skilled plumbing tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide direction in the organization of material and maintain job site (tools and materials) to provide a safe and efficient work environment. Also responsible for maintenance of truck inventory, including materials, supplies, and small tools.

Understands and practices the principals of code compliant water supply, drain, waste and vent systems and properly installs systems in an efficient manner.

Is proficient in installing plumbing fixtures, modules, rough-in valves and other equipment.

Competent with measuring, cutting, threading, soldering and gluing piping and fittings.

Perform quality control checks of work performed by crew and ensure all work performed meets acceptable standards of performance and correct problems onsite or in a call-back basis.

Understanding of blueprint reading and layout.

Has a strong understanding of all job site phases and is able to work independently with little direct supervision.

Effectively lead job site and crew and can effectively assign tasks in all areas needed on the job.

Advanced knowledge and experience in the use of hand tools, power tools, and power equipment.

Responsible for the training and development of Pre-Apprentices and Apprentices on the job site.

Understand, demonstrate, support, and hold crew accountable to the Steg safety culture through compliance with all safety policies and practices. Actively engaged in ensuring jobsite conditions are safe for Steg employees and external contractors.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Completion of a Plumbing Apprenticeship Program
3+ Years of experience in Plumbing
Electrical Technician
We have an immediate opening for a highly-skilled Electrical Technician to service our mechanical operations throughout our facility. You will respond to requests for electrical repairs and breakdowns as well as perform routine maintenance and upgrade equipment as necessary. Candidates must know how to troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and make adjustments or repairs if they are not working properly. We prefer applicants who have at least two years of professional technician experience and have a flexible schedule.

Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality

Assemble and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, and other electrical equipment

Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical systems

Communicate estimated timelines for repairs to those impacted

Install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed

Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule

Log all services and report progress to management

Laborer
The duties and responsibilities of a laborer are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project. The list of duties and responsibilities for a laborer on any given day may include the following:

Cleaning and preparing construction sites.

Loading and unloading materials and equipment.

Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures.
-
Digging trenches, compacting earth and backfilling holes.
-
Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment.
-
Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.

Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
Plumbing Technician
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Plumber to service residential and commercial clients. You must have extensive experience performing repairs on different piping systems, snaking drains, fixing leaks, and installing pipes and water heaters. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service and expect all of our Plumbers to be able to work independently to troubleshoot issues, make the repairs, and test the systems to ensure they work correctly and that there are no lingering issues that may need further repairs.

Diagnose plumbing problems and perform repairs

Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures

Locate and repair water line leaks and remove clogs

Install and/or repair household appliances like dishwashers, water heaters, toilets, sinks, etc.

HVAC Installation Helper
We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as an HVAC helper. The responsibilities of the HVAC helper include performing routine maintenance, replacing parts, repairing machinery, and furnishing the HVAC technicians with tools, materials, and supplies.
To be successful as an HVAC helper, you should have a strong working knowledge of HVAC systems as well as the tools related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of these systems. Ultimately, a top-notch HVAC helper should be physically fit, good with their hands, and able to effectively follow instructions.

Assisting with the installation of HVAC systems on commercial and residential properties.

Installing, maintaining, and repairing roof units for heating and air conditioning as well as the units inside residential and commercial buildings.

Operating a variety of hand and power tools needed for HVAC installation.

Cleaning and replacing air ducts.

Following instructions for picking up and delivering parts, tools, materials, and supplies to and from the job site.

Cabinet Installer
We are seeking a Cabinet Installer with cabinet-making experience or carpentry skills. In this role, you remove any existing cabinetry, measure each installation area, prepare the surfaces, and install cabinets according to specifications. We expect all of our employees to maintain a clean workspace and take pride in their finished product. All applicants must have experience using hand and power tools, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
